The Junior Livestock Sale at the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo is a culmination of the hard work and dedication of young participants in livestock projects. During this event, animals raised by youth, such as cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs, are auctioned off to buyers from the community. The sale not only provides an opportunity for participants to recoup some of their project expenses but also can help fund their future education.
