Meeting Agenda and Minutes - DC Fair & Rodeo

Douglas County Fair Board members are appointed by the Board of Douglas County Commissioners to organize, conduct and operate the annual Douglas County Fair & Rodeo, in coordination with County staff, on their behalf.

Board members participate in two committees, which meet twice a month and attend a monthly Board meeting. The committees are marketing, entertainment, rodeo, guest services, the Junior Livestock Sale, and show management.

Fair Board Meetings: Third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Douglas County Fairgrounds
Second Monday of the month: Marketing Committee at 5 PM; Guest Services Committee at 6:00 PM at the Douglas County Fairgrounds
First Wednesday of the month: Show Management Committee at 5:30 PM; Livestock Sale Committee at 6:30 PM at the Douglas County Fairgrounds
Second Wednesday of the month: Entertainment Committee at 5:30 PM; Rodeo Committee at 6:30 PM at the Douglas County Fairgrounds
Second Thursday of the month: Administrative Committee at 5:15 PM; Executive Committee at 6:00 PM at the Douglas County Fairgrounds
