Douglas County Fair Board members are appointed by the Board of Douglas County Commissioners to organize, conduct and operate the annual Douglas County Fair & Rodeo, in coordination with County staff, on their behalf.
Board members participate in two committees, which meet twice a month and attend a monthly Board meeting. The committees are marketing, entertainment, rodeo, guest services, Junior Livestock Sale and show management.
The Fair Board meets the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the Douglas County Events Center, 500 Fairgrounds Road, Castle Rock. Meeting dates, agendas and minutes are available here.
